![]() ![]() ![]() The new recording fails even though the same stream recorded fine earlier. I wondered whether the broadcaster had changed coding, so I went back to try to re-record something which had worked earlier in the day. Although the video floating window shows it recording at 1024x576 - which is the stream's native resolution, the Recent Recordings window shows it is 1280x720, even if I manually set the maximum stream size to the native width. ![]() It seems to have recorded the whole thing but then be unable to decode the video. If I click on the red error box it offers me to 'save as a different quality, Save as audio file MP3. It isn't doing the processing/join process which normally takes a few minutes. But if I then go to look at Recent Recordings it shows the file I just made, with a big red Error box. After I stop the recording it doesn't show a problem. It shows in the record floating window that it is recording happily all the way through. Then mid way through a series I started getting failed recordings. I was using the High Quality Direct Recording - Record One Video option for adaptive streaming recording quite happily. I was recording some TV from a stream with no problems, recording some old series to watch off line. ![]() I've been using this software and its predecessors for years without problems, but now seem to have an insoluble issue. ![]()
